The San Francisco Bay area was once a formidable manufacturing center. Urban sprawl and property value stupidity has all but driven most of the heavy industry out of the area. In my fifty odd years around here I have witnessed the huge shift in industry from giant industrial sites to more scattered garage size operations. Nobody wants a million square feet of heavy industrial floorspace any more. The focus has shifted to twelve hundred to twelve thousand square feet of "Light Manufacturing R/D" Which is secret code for white lab coated cubicle hell with five managers for every technician on the floor. The noisy smelly machine shop is always tucked away in some closet that was never intended to be a shop and is definitely off the investor tour.
The San Francisco Bay area has been a major manufacturing center from the time of the gold rush and is loaded with potential dig sites.I have an old book on machine design with a fellows name in it that was an engineer and draftsman at the Globe Iron Works which was located on Fremont back in the day. I really did! I don't want to give a full review but I can tell you what it's about in one sentence. the main character quits her fabulous job to open a vintage clothing shop. In case you missed it, here's Coast to Coast AM with Bob Gimlin and Dr. Matthew Johnson. He joined Connie Willis to discuss the sighting, the film, the aftermath, the hoax allegations, and why he emerged a few years ago to tell his story and speak at Bigfoot conferences across the U. S. In the final hour of the program, Dr. Matthew A. Don't get why but some of my favourite photographers are italians and Romolo Giulio Milito is one of them! Don't miss his tumblr too!!!. You play an old lady who visits a graveyard. You walk around, sit on a bench and listen to a song. It's more like an explorable painting than an actual game. Now the cold weather has finally left us, we plan to abseil down Derby Cathedral's tower later this week to do some maintenance work to the nest platform and cameras. This is quite a bit later than we'd hoped, but it still won't interfere with the birds drive to nest here again. It's all subject to the weather being kind to us, of course, but as usual we've informed the police in case anyone reports unusual activity near a protected species. " The impact of the Castro regime on music in Cuba goes beyond jailing musicians and includes systematic censorship that threatens the island's musical legacy. This process has been described as a Cuban cultural genocide that is depriving generations of Cubans of their heritage. One of the musicians to undergo this process is Olga Guillot. S. DiNapoli, representing the New York State pension fund, in an email. Chance and I had a day at home yesterday. Far Guy was off with a friend for the day, it was an Air Force Base trip and took all day. They left early and Chance howled up a storm because he was left behind…just what I wanted to wake up to. I had a rotten night…nightmares filled with Undertakers…go figure.
We made new Hummingbird syrup and hung up suet for the birds and then tsk tsked about the sunflower that our friends the %^$# squirrels broke off.It was getting nice and tall too…. the buggers. The wind was gale force all day long, the yard is littered with leaves and branches. . Last weekend, my excellent group of vegan pals came over for a potluck lunch. I was afraid maybe my injury would stop the whole potluck plan! But, as is evident, the potluck went on. The first thing I made was the Hearty Barley Fruit Bread from my brand new copy of Whole Grain Vegan Baking. I LOVED IT. Yatzik is a guy I met twenty five years ago. He was dragged into my life by my roommate at the time, Darcy. Yatzik was an alcoholic homeless street person. He was thrown out of Poland thirty five years ago. He would show up at our apartment everyday just as dinner was ready to be served and I do mean everyday. He would drink all my beer and liquor, help himself to everything in our fridge, and I would catch him sometimes wearing my clothes.
Not once did he lift a finger, and offer to do the dishes or even clean one dish. So! It's been a while. a really long while since I last posted. It's doing well and we just had our best month ever, so things are looking good so far. As you could have guessed, the new super premium charge came into effect and I was of course in that bracket. .
